I am a private chef with both professional and Leith’s qualifications, cooking not for profit for myself but for charity. Cooking is a real passion for me and I want to use my skills to help others in need.
Based in West Berkshire, my cooking is based around quality ingredients; as a family we aim to eat 30 plants a week and know the importance of healthy choices and dietary restrictions. I am happy cooking food from across the world, including glorious Asian curries, French patisseries or the best of our British seafood to produce a menu of your choice.

How it works:
The Charitable Chef works like any other private catering company. We agree a menu and a price. We will source quality ingredients to your budget, cook and deliver or, cook in your home/venue, depending on requirements. The charitable chef is a non-profit and so we will give all profits from your commission to our charity of the year. This year it is Samaritans (Winchester branch).

I am available for lunch parties, picnics, christenings, afternoon teas, freezer filling or anything you need. If you live close enough, you can even drop off your dishes so that I can fill them with a delicious meal that you can pass off as your own! I am available in West Berkshire and happy to travel to Oxfordshire, Hampshire and Wiltshire. I would also consider cooking on family holidays and during term time.
“Naomi is a wonderful cook and effortlessly organises and cooks delicious meals for any number of people whether adults or children. Particular highlights have included a weekend of cooking for 40 adults and children and some really delicious birthday cakes. I recommend Naomi wholeheartedly.”
Josie T.
“Naomi delivers exceptional catering; she is a truly gifted chef, whose imaginative, delicious menus are matched only by her deep, firsthand understanding of the charity sector gained through years of dedicated volunteering.”
Charlotte W.
“When I think of Naomi’s cooking, the words ‘exquisite’ and ‘delicate’ spring to mind; when I think of her cakes, they are so delicious, I can only think about hiding them from the rest of my family.”

About the Samaritans
My first charity that I will be supporting from the profits from this venture is the Samaritans (Winchester branch).
Every 10 seconds, the Samaritans answer a call for help, day or night. Samaritans is the charity that prevents suicide through the power of human connection, listening without judgement. Life can be wonderful. Life can be tough. 1 in 4 of us have had suicidal thoughts.
At the Winchester branch over the course of a month around 120 volunteers will answer approximately 1600 phone calls, spending over 500 hours on the phone.
Supporting this charity will help someone with suicidal thoughts get help when they need it most.
